Audre: Story and Size Chart

The Audre is named after radical caribbean-American feminist Audre Lorde, who in her own words was a

"black, lesbian, mother, warrior, poet".

This piece is light, breathable and perfect for comfortable wear in all seasons. Our zero-waste cut merges sustainability and design in a way that never looked so good.

The Audre brings a radical edge to the staple singlet. Featuring a minimalist linear cut, flattering boat neckline, and sharp sleeveless design - this piece is understated in the boldest way. Styled with casual denims, a cotton skirt, or a formal pin skirt, the Audre brings out the creative in you. Your wardrobe staple just got a little more provocative.

Our fabric is made from hand-spun and hand-woven eri-silk and khadi-cotton and is produced by women in conflict-affected Assam, India following strict principles of environmental sustainability and social responsibility.

Our garments are dyed and constructed by Sasha in Kolkata, India. Sasha are a World Fair Trade Organisational accredited and artisan centred organisation that supports rural women and marginalised producers in rural West Bengal.
