The Tavi is named after teen feminist Tavi Gevinson - founder of Rookie Magazine, an online rag that publishes original articles from young women talking about the issues that matter to them.
Made from a natural blend of eri-silk and khadi cotton, this piece is light, breathable and perfect for comfortable wear in all seasons. Our zero-waste design merges sustainability and design in a way that never looked so good.
Featuring a boat neckline, a sharp sleeveless design, and gentle pleats at the shoulder, this piece has the qualities of a classic cut with a daring futuristic edge. Available in earthy olive, and mustard, our seasonless cropped Tavi is a must for every woman determined to forge her own future.
Our fabric is made from hand-spun and hand-woven eri-silk and khadi-cotton and is produced by women in conflict-affected Assam, India following strict principles of environmental sustainability and social responsibility.
Our garments are dyed and constructed by Sasha in Kolkata, India. Sasha are a World Fair Trade Organisational accredited and artisan centred organisation that supports rural women and marginalised producers in rural West Bengal.
